Alkaline Wash
Alkaline wash is a strong preparation which is designed to reduce the growth of fine velous type hair. It is a mistake to attempt to clear this type of growth completely since it provides moisture to the skin without which the skin would become extremely dry.
Applications of Alkaline Wash are required at approximately 6 – 8 weekly intervals until the growth has reduced and the final result acceptable.
